FAQ highlights for new readers and writers

How do I start reading for free? You do not need an account. Go to arewapen.com/public/home to browse. Click any book to see its description and free chapters. Create a free account when you want to save books to your library, receive author notifications, or purchase paid chapters.
How do I start publishing? Go to /create to start a book. Add a cover image, title, genre, and description. Then add your first chapter and publish it. The whole process takes under ten minutes. Your book will be publicly visible immediately after publishing.
Can I change my pricing after I publish? You can change the price on future chapters at any time. Chapters that readers have already purchased are not affected. It is good practice to keep pricing consistent throughout a book—changing prices mid-story confuses readers.
How does the App Only setting protect my book? App Only books are only accessible through the ArewaPen Android app. The app is a more controlled reading environment than a web browser—text selection is restricted and screenshots are blocked on supported devices. This makes it harder (though not impossible) for readers to copy and redistribute your text. Use App Only if you are publishing highly original content you want extra protection for.
How do referrals work? Every account has a personal referral link (find it in your dashboard under Referrals). Share this link; when a new user signs up through it and makes a purchase, both you and the new user can receive rewards as defined by the current programme terms.
What devices are supported? ArewaPen works on any web browser (desktop and mobile) and on the ArewaPen Android app. The web version and the app sync progress automatically when you are logged into the same account. Keep the app updated for the best performance.
How do I get support or report a problem? Email info@arewapen.com or message via WhatsApp at 09165777779. Include your account email and a clear description of the issue. For payment disputes or potential refunds (accidental purchases, technical errors), include the transaction date and amount. Our team responds on weekdays.
