What is ArewaPen?

ArewaPen is a creative publishing platform for readers and writers across Northern Nigeria, the wider continent, and the diaspora. Authors publish serialised books chapter by chapter—often in Hausa or English—set their own prices, and earn directly when readers unlock paid chapters. Readers browse the public library, open free chapters as full text pages, then create a free account only when they want to save progress or continue a paid story.

Unlike social feeds or closed chat groups, every free chapter on ArewaPen is a real web page with the story text visible in your browser. That means you can start reading from a shared link in seconds, and writers get a durable home for their work beyond WhatsApp broadcasts.
