Product updates: public library, profiles, and contact refresh
This post covers the most significant product changes shipped to ArewaPen in December 2025. These updates focus on making the platform more open, more discoverable, and clearer about how your data is used.
Public library and browsing pages. ArewaPen launched full public browsing in December 2025. The public home (arewapen.com/public/home) and public books (arewapen.com/public/books) pages now display thousands of published books without any login requirement. Popular filter shows the highest-viewed books across all genres. Paid filter lets readers looking for premium content find it fast. These pages are fully indexed by search engines and load fast on mobile connections.
Public author profiles. Writers now have permanent public profile pages at arewapen.com/u/[username]. These pages show an author's complete published catalogue, their follower count, and a short bio. For authors who rely on social media to grow their audience, the profile page replaces the need to link to individual books—one link shows everything. Profile pages are also indexable by Google, which means organic discovery through search is now possible for established authors.
Public book pages. Every book now has a permanent public URL at arewapen.com/public/book/[book-id]. These pages include the book cover, description, genre, chapter list, and—for free chapters—the full chapter text. A reader following a WhatsApp link can read your first free chapter with zero friction. When they want more, they create an account.
Contact channels refreshed. ArewaPen's official contact channels are now: email info@arewapen.com for general support and arewapen@gmail.com for partnerships. Phone and WhatsApp: 09165777779. These details are listed in the Help page, the About page, and the Contact page. If you have an older contact address saved, please update it.
Privacy Policy and Terms of Service updated. Both documents were rewritten in December 2025 with clearer language about what data we collect, how it is used, how long it is retained, and how to request deletion. The key change: we now explicitly describe the difference between the Refill wallet (reader credits) and the Earning wallet (author revenue). Data deletion requests can be submitted via the account settings page or by emailing the support address.
What is coming next. Q1 2026 priorities include reading streaks and loyalty rewards, improvements to the recommendation algorithm, and a new co-writing feature that lets multiple authors collaborate on a single book with split earnings. Stay tuned.
