It can never be...

Naina gently touched Boddo's arm, snapping her out of her deep thoughts. Boddo blinked and looked up, her eyes filled with sadness and confusion.

"Oh, Naina. You're here? Sorry, I didn't even notice when you got here," Boddo said, her voice filled with melancholy.

Naina nodded understandingly. "It's okay, Boddo. I could tell something was bothering you. What happened? Is it because of the argument Kamal had with my brother, yesterday?." "It's not just the argument," Boddo admitted. "Kamal has been acting differently around me lately, and what he did yesterday when he saw me standing with Khalid, is difficult to understand. And he accused me of betraying him and stormed off in anger. You saw what he did, yesterday."

Naina listened attentively, her expression a mix of concern and understanding. Naina also wished that Boddo has noticed her brother attention but deep inside her she believes there still time, the game has just started. She reached out and held Boddo's hand, offering support.

"Boddo, I know this is hard for you to accept, but sometimes love can arise unexpectedly, even between close family members. Kamal's behavior towards you lately, his protectiveness and the way he's been looking out for you, it might be because he has developed romantic feelings for you."

Boddo looked at Naina, her eyes wide with disbelief. Her heart is beating very fast, closing her both eyes quickly she took her hands from Naina. It took her some sec to finally compose herself.  "Naina, that can't be true. Kamal has always been like a brother to me. I can't imagine him being in love with me." She said gently while she opens her eyes in Naina's. She's still struggling with her heart.

' How can I tell you it can never be? That I'm married also to his younger brother Da...' Naina sighed, distracting Boddo's thought. Understanding the confusion and disbelief in Boddo's reaction. "I know it's difficult to accept, Boddo. But emotions are complex, and sometimes our hearts lead us into unexpected directions. You have known Kamal your whole life, and perhaps he started to see you in a different light recently. It doesn't mean you have to reciprocate those feelings, but it's important to consider the possibility."

Boddo shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes. "But Naina, I don't feel that way about Kamal. I can't imagine him as anything more than a cousin and a brother figure in my life." Boddo wants to speak more but the bell rings. Naina smiled at her friend Boddo, " let's go!." She said helping her picked her belongings.

Kamal was busy driving on the empty road filled with anger and regret meeting Haydar today as he sees it a waste of time. Kamal's hands tightened on the steering wheel as his phone continued to ring, displaying the name "Little Baby." He knew it was Minal, his former love interest who had left him to be with his brother Datti in the US. He was still hurt and angry about the betrayal, and their relationship had been strained ever since.

Reluctantly, Kamal answered the call, but he remained silent, unsure of what to say or how to react. The line crackled with anticipation until finally, he heard Minal's voice on the other end.

" Big brother?" Minal said tentatively. "Is that you?" She asked again.

Kamal took a deep breath, steeling himself. "Yes, it's me," he replied, his voice laced with a mixture of bitterness and curiosity. "What do you want?"

There was a brief pause before Minal responded. "I... I wanted to talk to you,   brother. And you might not like what I am going to say to you. So, can I?."

"Uhm!."

Minal's voice wavered with emotion. " You know we're family? And whatever bad happens to you it does to me as I really do feel bad about it."

" Minal just go straight to the point." He hurried said.

Minal let out a relieved sigh. " Is about that village Cha..."

He cut her off right away by ending the call hissing. He's very furious. His phone rings again, it was her. " Look Min..." " I'm very sorry, I don't mean to upset you but, what I heard is important so, just listen to it first."

"Fine," Kamal finally replied, his voice softer but still guarded. " I heard you're getting closer to that village champion Cousin sister of yours, what's that her name again? Remind me, please." Kamal closes both his eyes listening to her hurtful words. She continue " Boddo!." He immediately open his both eyes with so much fury.

Kamal's anger surged like a blazing fire within him. The hurtful words that Minal had spoken about Boddo echoed in his mind, fueling his rage. He clenched his fists tightly, his knuckles turning white as he struggled to contain his emotions.

In that moment, it felt as if he could see Boddo, standing before him, wounded by Minal's cruel remarks. The thought of anyone hurting Boddo, especially someone he had once cared for, ignited a protective instinct within Kamal that he couldn't ignore.

" Yes! That's her name. I wonder what kind of relationship do you share with her but, from what I heard is more than just brotherly and sisterly bound, ha! Do not tell me you're busy sleeping with your brothers wi..." With a burst of fury, Kamal shouted at the top of his voice, releasing his pent-up frustration and defending Boddo's honor. "How dare you speak about Boddo like that!" he roared, the intensity of his words reverberating through the confines of his car.

His voice carried the weight of his love and concern for Boddo, as well as the pain caused by Minal's callousness. Every fiber of his being yearned to shield Boddo from further harm and ensure that she knew she was cherished and valued. he's so angry that he continues venting his anger on Minal without a rest.

Minal tried to speak after listening to his hurtful words but, he suddenly ended the call. As Kamal's anger continued to surge within him, his focus on the road wavered. The weight of Minal's hurtful words kept replaying in his mind, clouding his judgment and causing him to lose control for a moment.

Suddenly, he found himself on the brink of hitting someone on the road. In a split second, he swerved the car, narrowly avoiding a disastrous collision. " Innalillahi wa'inna ilaihir raji'un."that's what he recite as his heart pounded in his chest, his breathing heavy with a mixture of shock and relief.

Realizing the gravity of his near-accident, Kamal quickly pulled over to the side of the road, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. The realization that his anger had clouded his judgment, putting not only himself but also others in danger, washed over him.

With a heavy heart and a deep sense of remorse, Kamal stepped out of the car and approached the person he had almost hit. His voice trembled with sincerity as he apologized profusely, his words filled with regret and a genuine desire to make amends."I'm so sorry," Kamal said, his voice laced with genuine concern. "I wasn't focused, and I almost caused a terrible accident. I apologize from the bottom of my heart. I'm thankful that you're safe, and I promise to be more careful in the future."

The man, startled by the near-miss, looked at Kamal with a mix of surprise and relief. He could see the genuine remorse in Kamal's eyes and hear the sincerity in his voice. After a moment, the man nodded, accepting Kamal's apology.

"Please, be more careful next time," the man replied, his voice calm but firm. "We all make mistakes, but it's important to learn from them. I'm glad nobody got hurt. Just remember to stay focused and drive safely."

Kamal nodded, his gratitude evident as he thanked the man once more for his understanding. As he got back into his car, he took a few deep breaths, trying to regain his composure. The incident served as a sobering reminder of the importance of controlling his anger and being mindful of his actions.

With a newfound determination, Kamal made a silent vow to himself. He would not allow Minal's hurtful words to consume him to the point of losing control. He needed to find a way to solve the ongoing situation, a it's Minal and Datti are enjoying their lives he sees no reason to why will Boddo suffer for something she does not know of or choose. " I won't let her get tied up by something like that, I need to speak with Bappah Ardo as soon as possible."

As he drove away from the scene, Kamal felt a weight lift off his shoulders. He knew that he still had a long journey ahead, both in terms of his own emotional well-being and in rebuilding the relationships that had been affected. But he was determined to confront his parents regarding Boddo, he must find a way to relieve her of the burden they tied up on her head.

Minal sat in stunned silence, her thoughts racing and her emotions swirling within her. She had expected many reactions from Kamal during their conversation, but his outburst of anger and the passionate defense of Boddo had caught her completely off guard.

Jealousy burned within Minal, intensifying the anger that had already consumed her. How could Kamal care so deeply for Boddo, someone he just met recently, while seemingly disregarding the connection they had once shared? The realization that Kamal was willing to raise his voice at her to protect Boddo, only fueled Minal's frustration.

Her mind raced to find an explanation for Kamal's actions. Was he truly in love with Boddo, as some rumors had suggested? Did he prioritize his relationship with Boddo? The questions swirled in her mind, intensifying her feelings of resentment and rejection.

Feeling a mix of hurt and anger, Minal dialed Kamal's number again, determined to confront him about his seemingly newfound devotion to Boddo. The call rang through, but Kamal chose not to answer. The silence on the other end only fueled Minal's frustration.

She couldn't understand how Kamal could prioritize Boddo over her. The thought of their previous bond, the memories they had shared, and the love she once believed they had felt for each other only deepened her anguish, even though he never accepted loving her back more than a brother love to a sister but she thought someday he will accept it but, now thanks to Boddo everything is ending for her.

As Minal grappled with her conflicting emotions, she realized that it was not just Boddo and Datti's relationship that she felt jealous of now it was also about the  bond that Kamal and Boddo shared, a bond that seemed unbreakable as she knows how Kamal can be when he cares for someone especially now when it's about love.

With a mix of hurt and determination, Minal vowed to fight Boddo with all the strength in her. The cry of her baby sleeping next to her brought her back to her sense.
