2weeks later...

As Yidi woke up feeling unwell, the weight of her suspicions about her pregnancy grew stronger. The symptoms of vomiting and fever that persisted over the past few days left her with a sinking feeling in her heart. Aware of the possibility, she mustered the courage to confront the truth.

Yidi's mind raced as she contemplated the implications of her condition. She knew that her life was about to change drastically, and the uncertain future added to her already heightened emotions. The fear and anxiety that accompanied her realization were overwhelming. Knowing that she needed medical confirmation.

Yidi gathered the strength to confront Ahijjo, she knew that she couldn't delay the conversation any longer. With a heavy heart and nerves that threatened to overpower her, she approached Ahijjo's room. She had mustered the courage to confront him about her pregnancy, hoping they could face their situation together. However, as she reached the door, she heard Ahijjo's voice on the phone, and it was not the conversation she had expected.

Peeking through the slightly ajar door, Yidi listened in disbelief as Ahijjo flirted with another girl on the phone. His words were filled with charm and playfulness, his laughter echoing through the room. It was as if he had completely forgotten about their impending conversation.

Each word pierced through Yidi's heart like a dagger. She had always known their relationship was forbidden, but she had hoped that their bond meant something to Ahijjo. Now, it seemed like she was just a passing fancy to him, easily discarded for the attention of someone new.

Tears welled up in Yidi's eyes as she struggled to comprehend the situation. How could Ahijjo be so callous, flirting with another girl while she carried his child? Anger mixed with pain as she grappled with a sense of betrayal.

Summoning all her strength, Yidi forced herself to step back from the door, realizing that confronting Ahijjo in that moment would only lead to more hurt and disappointment. She needed time to process her emotions and make a decision about their future.

With a heavy heart, Yidi retreated back, feeling the weight of the situation bearing down on her. The once bright hopes she had for their relationship now lay shattered, replaced by a sense of profound loss and confusion. On her way to their side Aunty Amina saw her and called out to her.

Yidi quickly wipe her tears trying to hide her face away from her Aunt. With a concerned look on her face, her eyes filled with compassion. She had been observing Yidi closely, sensing her distress and the emotional turmoil she was going through. "Yidi, my dear," Aunty Amina said gently, her voice filled with warmth. "I can see that something is troubling you. Please, sit down and talk to me. You don't have to carry this burden alone."

Yidi hesitated for a moment, her tears still flowing uncontrollably. But something in Aunty Amina's kind demeanor and genuine concern made her feel safe, as if she could trust her with her deepest worries. Sitting down beside Aunty Amina, Yidi took a deep breath and opened up about her relationship with Ahijjo and the pain she had just experienced in overhearing him flirting with another girl but, she hide about her pregnancy to her.

Aunty Amina listened attentively,' foolish Yidi, she's hidden her pregnancy to me. She forgot that I'm a doctor I can say it by just looking at her.' she muttered underneath and looks at Yidi with her eyes filled with empathy. She gently placed a hand on Yidi's trembling shoulder, offering her a comforting presence. As a Doc, she had witnessed the complexities of human emotions and relationships, and she understood the importance of providing support during difficult times.

"My dear Yidi, I am so sorry that you had to go through this alone," Aunty Amina said, her voice filled with compassion. "No one deserves to be treated with such disregard and disrespect. You are a strong young woman, and you deserve to be valued and cherished." Yidi nodded, her tears slowly subsiding as she felt the weight of her pain being shared. She found solace in Aunty Amina's understanding and wisdom.

"You know, Yidi," Aunty Amina continued, "sometimes life takes us on unexpected paths, and the people we thought would always be there for us prove otherwise. But in these moments of heartbreak, we have an opportunity to rediscover our own strength and resilience. It may not be easy, but you are capable of rising above this pain."

Yidi sniffled, wiping away her tears. She realized that she didn't have to face this alone, that there were people around her who genuinely cared for her well-being. Aunty Amina held Yidi's hand, her comforting touch a symbol of support and understanding. "Remember, Yidi, you have the power to shape your own future," she said. "You deserve happiness and love that is genuine and true. Take the time you need to heal and find your own path forward. And always remember, I am here for you. And yes, I will also discuss this with Ahijjo to know if he's really interested in you if, he's then. I will discuss your marriage with your Bappah Gidado."

Yidi felt a glimmer of hope ignite within her. With Aunty Amina by her side, she knew she had a source of strength and guidance as she navigated through the challenges that lay ahead. Though her heart was broken, she was determined to heal and find the love and happiness she deserved.

As they sat together, sharing their thoughts and emotions, Yidi found solace in the presence of someone who truly cared. Aunty Amina's words of wisdom echoed in her mind, inspiring her to embrace her own resilience and embrace the journey of self-discovery and healing.

' Yidi, I know you're hidden about your pregnancy but, I will see to it that everything happen as my wish, it's time for me to be on the game now. I'm sorry that, I have to use you you as one of my puppet and that's the reason I let you have that relationship with him from the beginning.' Aunty Amina, muttered under her breath, while smiling at Yidi.

Haj. Aisha, concerned about Yidi's health, approached Nana with worry etched on her face. She had noticed Yidi's persistent fatigue and occasional bouts of fever, and it troubled her deeply. "Nana," Haj. Aisha said, her voice filled with concern. "I've noticed that Yidi hasn't been well lately. She seems to be suffering from constant fatigue and fevers. Have you taken her to the hospital or talk to your father? It's important to get her proper medical attention."

Nana sighed, feeling a pang of guilt. She knew she should have taken Yidi to the hospital or even inform their father, but circumstances had prevented her from doing so. She looked at Haj. Aisha and explained, "Mom, I have given her some medication for malaria and typhoid. I thought it would help her feel better."

Haj. Aisha's expression changed to one of disapproval. "Nana, self-medication is not the best course of action. Yidi's health should not be taken lightly you should know this as a daughter to a doctor and many your siblings and Aunty Amina are doctors any of them could have checked her. It's crucial that she needs to receive a proper diagnosis and treatment. Just take her to your Dad in the hospital is much better than asking him at home, okay"

Nana nodded, realizing the gravity of the situation. "You're right, Mom. I should have taken her to the hospital. I'll make sure we go as soon as possible."Haj. Aisha put a comforting hand on Nana's shoulder. "Don't blame yourself, my dear. Sometimes life gets overwhelming, and we make decisions out of desperation. The important thing is that we rectify it now and prioritize Yidi's well-being."

As they continued their conversation, little did they know that Yidi's symptoms were not due to malaria or typhoid. Unknown to them, Yidi was carrying a secret within her, a secret that would change the course of her life.

Boddo's heart ached with each passing day, and her longing for Kamal only intensified. She found it increasingly challenging to concentrate on her studies, as her thoughts constantly drifted to him. His absence, both physically and emotionally, weighed heavily on her.

Every day, she would catch glimpses of Kamal, but he would purposefully ignore her, deepening her sense of sadness and confusion. She couldn't understand why he was behaving this way, especially after their close bond and the affection they had shared in the past.

Boddo confided in Naina, pouring out her feelings of longing and confusion. Naina listened attentively, understanding the depth of Boddo's emotions. She encouraged Boddo to give Kamal some space, as his behavior might be driven by his own internal struggles.

But Boddo couldn't help but wonder if there was more to Kamal's indifference. She questioned herself, replaying their last encounter over and over in her mind. Did she do something wrong? Was Kamal angry with her? The uncertainty  question at her, leaving her feeling helpless and lost.

Today after school, Boddo mustered up her courage and approached Kamal, despite the fear and uncertainty in her heart. She found him sitting alone, lost in his thoughts. Taking a deep breath, she gently called his name.

Kamal looked up, surprise flickering in his eyes as he saw Boddo standing before him. His gaze softened, but he remained guarded. Boddo, with tears welling in her eyes, spoke with honesty and vulnerability. She shared her feelings of confusion, hurt, and longing, desperately seeking answers.
