The Scandal

Inside the chambers of the mansion, Minal, driven by dark desires and a thirst for control, approached Maman Nana with a sense of entitlement. The air was thick with tension as Minal, her tone laced with rudeness, demanded answers.
"Enough of your games, Maman Nana! You promised to take me to the place where you obtained that charm. I want to be in control, just like you are," Minal insisted, her eyes gleaming with a twisted determination.
Maman Nana, the controller wrapped in mystery, remained seated, her expression stoic. "Some paths are best left untraveled, Minal. The charm comes with consequences you may not be prepared to face."
Minal, undeterred by Maman Nana's warning, sneered, "I don't care about consequences. I want Datti under my command, just like you have Dad wrapped around your finger."
Maman Nana's gaze turned cold, and she replied, "My methods are not to be taken lightly. You may regret delving into the shadows."
But Minal, driven by her relentless ambition, pressed on, "I don't want your warnings, what I want is the results. So leave the rest to me just take me to that place, or I'll find a way to force the truth out of you."
Maman Nana, choosing silence over confrontation, continued to ignore Minal's demands. The room echoed with the simmering tension, the shadows of secrets and forbidden knowledge casting an eerie ambiance.
Minal, frustrated by the lack of compliance, stormed out of the room, vowing to unravel the mysteries that Maman Nana guarded so closely, no matter what.
After Minal's stormy departure, Maman Nana retreated into the shadows, her thoughts veiled in a shroud of contemplation. The dimly lit room bore witness to the intricate dance of secrets, and Maman Nana, a master of the mystic arts, knew the delicate balance she had to maintain.
Picking up her phone, Maman Nana dialed a number saved under the name "My daughter Hadi." The phone rang, and a voice on the other end answered, calm and composed.
"Hadi, my daughter, trouble is brewing," Maman Nana began, her words carrying a weight of concern.
Hadi, who shared her mother's enigmatic nature, responded, "Tell me, Mother. What's happening?"
Maman Nana recounted the encounter with Minal, revealing the impulsive demand for the forbidden knowledge that lay hidden in the charm she wielded.
"She's trying to force her way into the secrets we guard," Maman Nana explained, her voice a low murmur.
Hadi, unperturbed by the urgency in her mother's tone, reassured, "Calm yourself, Mom. We know how to handle those who dare challenge our dominion. Minal won't pose a threat for long."
Maman Nana, a mixture of gratitude and determination in her eyes, acknowledged Hadi's wisdom. "You're right, my daughter. The secrets of the shadows are not for those who cannot respect their power. We will deal with Minal in due time."
As the call ended, the room seemed to exhale a sigh of relief. The alliance between Maman Nana and Hadi, steeped in shared secrets and a mastery of mystical forces, hinted at a formidable force that could withstand even the most audacious challenges.
Minal, fueled by anger and frustration, stormed towards Haj. Aishatu's residence, determined to confront her husband. The journey, however, took an unexpected turn as she crossed paths with Ladi, the house help, rushing with a bucket of dirty water.
In a moment of chaos, the water intended for cleaning Haj. Aishatu's belongings ended up splashing onto Minal's body. The stench and filth of the water ignited a fury within Minal, transforming her irritation into a fiery rage.
"What kind of incompetence is this? Are you blind?" Minal shouted, her voice echoing with contempt.
Ladi, flustered and apologetic, stammered, "I'm sorry, ma. It was an accident. I didn't mean to..."
But Minal, unwilling to entertain apologies, continued her tirade. "Accident? This is your carelessness at its finest! Look at me, covered in filth because of your incompetence."
As the commotion escalated, the noise reached the ears of Datti, who emerged from the house, his expression puzzled. "What's going on here?"
Minal, not one to mince words, turned her ire towards her husband. "The water used to washed your handicapped mother on me because of her useless house help who just threw the dirty water on me! Is this the kind of family you've brought me into?"
Datti, his temper flaring, retorted, "Watch your words, Minal. That's my mother we're talking about here, and she deserves respect. You can't just barge in here and insult everyone."
Minal, undeterred, fired back, "Respect? What respect? She's nothing but a burden on this family with her disability. And this house help of yours is nothing more than a liability."
The heated argument between Datti and Minal reached a crescendo when, in a surge of fury, Datti slapped Minal. The resounding echo of the slap reverberated through the courtyard, marking a moment of fractured harmony in the once tranquil home.
Just as the tension seemed unbearable, the front door swung open, revealing Dr. Gidado, who had returned home from work. His eyes widened at the scene unfolding before him, the air thick with unresolved conflicts.
"What is going on here?" Dr. Gidado demanded, his authoritative voice cutting through the discord.
Minal, nursing the stinging sensation on her cheek, pointed an accusing finger at Datti. "Your son just slapped me for no reason, Dad."
Datti, his anger still simmering, retorted, "She insulted Mom and Ladi who's old a enough to also be her mother, Father. I won't stand by and let her disrespect our family."
Dr. Gidado, torn between the conflicting accounts, sighed deeply. "Enough of this! We're a family, and we should treat each other with respect. Datti, violence is not the solution. Minal, mind your words."
As the patriarch attempted to mediate, Maman Nana arrived on the scene, her presence commanding attention. "Baban Nana, Minal is right. Datti had no right to hit her. The truth is, Sister Aisha has become a burden on this family, and we must face that reality."
Datti, surprised by Maman Nana's support for Minal, found himself at a loss for words.
Dr. Gidado, his brow furrowed, addressed Datti sternly, "Violence is never acceptable. And we need to have a proper discussion about the issues within this family. Minal, you should be mindful of your words as well."
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Datti, begrudgingly, offered an apology and left. "I... I'm sorry, Dad. I shouldn't have reacted that way."
As the echoes of conflict subsided, the household was left with a palpable sense of unease. The fractures within the family became more apparent, and the once harmonious atmosphere now carried the weight of unspoken grievances.
Paris....
The stage was set for the grand finale of Beenah's fashion show. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation as she showcased her latest creations, each ensemble a testament to her talent and dedication. The audience watched in awe as the models gracefully paraded down the runway.
However, as the climax of the show approached, a wave of commotion swept through the crowd. Murmurs and gasps filled the air, and a sense of unease descended upon the once celebratory atmosphere.
Beenah, still in the spotlight, noticed the shift in the audience's demeanor. Confusion clouded her expression as she tried to comprehend the sudden change. Then, a cascade of notifications chimed on the phones of attendees, each message unraveling a piece of the unexpected puzzle.
Whispers spread like wildfire, and fingers pointed in Beenah's direction. The noise intensified, and she could feel the accusing gazes of the spectators.
In the midst of the chaos, Beenah's phone buzzed with incoming messages. As she checked, the messages revealed a revelation that shook her to the core. A series of photos and messages circulated, linking her to a web of deceit and hidden connections.
The accusations mounted, and the once admiring audience turned into a sea of judgmental stares. Beenah, bewildered and blindsided, found herself at the center of a storm she hadn't anticipated.
Caught in the tempest of the unfolding drama, Beenah teetered on the edge of a precipice, her legs threatening to give way beneath her. The relentless shouts and interrogations from the audience only intensified her fear.
In that moment of vulnerability, Mehd emerged as her steadfast anchor. Swiftly, he reached her side, his strong arms encircling her trembling form. Mehd, understanding the gravity of the situation, shielded her from the prying eyes and the cacophony of judgment.
Without hesitation, Mehd draped his jacket around Beenah, offering both physical and emotional support. He guided her away from the tumultuous crowd, creating a protective barrier as questions and accusations continued to swirl around them.
As they moved towards a more secluded space, Mehd whispered words of reassurance to Beenah. "Stay strong, Beenah. We'll figure this out together."
Inside the sheltering confines, Mehd continued to shield Beenah from the relentless storm of inquiries. The onlookers, fueled by curiosity and a hunger for scandal, pressed closer, demanding answers about her past.
Beenah, still grappling with the shock of the unfolding events, clung to Mehd's support. His steady presence offered a glimmer of solace amidst the chaos.
The backstage area, once a realm of preparation and excitement, now became a refuge for Beenah and Mehd as they navigated the storm of scrutiny. Yasmin and the rest try to support and calm her down.
