Madina's POVMy makeup artist just finished my make up and trust me, she did a wonderful job. Looking at the mirror right now I am seeing a different woman and she looks pretty. I love what I'm seeing.I have always been a sucker for makeup. I love it so much. It makes me feel prettier not that I am not naturally pretty.My name is Madina and I am in my early twenties. I have four siblings and one beautiful niece.I am fair in complexion, something I inherited from my mom. I have a straight pointy nose, fairly sized eyes and heart shaped lip. My dad is a business man and he manages his company with the help of my two brothers and sometimes me.All in all, we are a small happy family.Today is my wedding day and I am very happy with. Beyond happy to be honest. I will be Mrs Alkali in a few hours.I met my soon-to-be husband, Malik Alkali two years ago when I went to the shopping mall to get some girly stuffs.Since then, we kept in touch and we fell madly in love with each other.After a year, he proposed and I said yes. From there, we did some introduction and that's it we will soon be husband and wife.Good knows how much I love him. I don't think I will ever fall out of love with him.Malik is a handsome man that is currently in his late twenties. I haven't heard from him since yesterday which was surprising because he always call me in the morning and it's almost 2 now.With that, I decided to call him. Maybe he has been busy. I know my baby will never forget about me."Hello", I heard his voice after two rings."Hey babe", I replied."Erhhmm....Ma..Ma.. Madina I want to tell you something", he said stammering."Okay babe, I hope everything is fine?",I asked"Yes everything is fine", he answered which made me relieved.There was a long silence as I wait for him to talk."Malik", I called his name."oh yes.. the thing is I don't know how to say this but I think I don't love you anymore, no, I don't love you anymore and I am very sure of that. I know this is heartbreaking but please forgive me I can't marry you. I don't know how to tell her parents and nobody knows this and I am not going to attend the wedding ceremony. I will leave the country. So please, tell them I called off the wedding at the last minute. I am so sorry and I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me" he said and hung up without waiting for me to reply.I was so shocked that I didn't even move from where I was sitting. I just sat down in front of the mirror looking at my pathetic self.So this is it.
