Bahiyya lounged on the couch, her fingers dancing over her phone screen as she scrolled through a Tiktok funny video. Each clip brought a giggle or a snort, momentarily taking her away from reality.

Her mother, Hajia Hadiza, glanced over from her chair with a bemused expression. "Bahiyya, how long will you spend glued to that screen, watching such things that won't add up to your life?"

Bahiyya grinned, lifting her gaze momentarily. "Just a few more, Mama. I promise."

Hajia Hadiza chuckled, shaking her head as she rose from her chair. "Alright, alright. But remember, there's more to life than what you find on that little device."

Bahiyya nodded, her attention already drawn back to the captivating world of social media. She watched as her mother disappeared into her room, the soft click of the door signaling her departure.

Alone again, Bahiyya delved deeper into the digital abyss, her laughter mingling with the sounds of the videos. Just when she thought she'd seen it all, a new video popped up, drawing her gaze. Bahiyya's eyes widened as she watched the vedio, a video that was trending across all social media platforms. The screen flickered to life, displaying a scene that sent a shiver down her spine.

It was a video unlike any she had seen before, capturing a moment so bizarre and unsettling that Bahiyya found herself frozen in shock. She sat upright, her relaxed posture forgotten as she watched the footage unfold before her.

Bahiyya's heart raced as she watched the video, her mind struggling to comprehend the shocking truth it revealed. There, on the screen, was the face of the girl they had been searching for, for more than five years. It was a face etched into her memory, haunting her dreams and fueling her guilt.

She couldn't forget the events of that fateful day five years ago, when their lives had been torn apart by tragedy. Bahiyya and her brother Salim had a big argument while he was driving and he accidentally hit a girl with his, they brought her to hospital but afterr some days she was gone as someone got her kidnapped. Their parents had to pay a heavy price to shsh the doctor and his staff, as the girl in the hospital was from a wealthy and known family.

And during that time her family were searching for her everywhere they've got no choice but to shut their mouth from talking about it or getting involved in anyway. The memory of that day still haunted them, filling them with remorse and regret.

Now, seeing the girl they had thought lost forever, Bahiyya's mind raced with a thousand questions. "How was she still alive? Where had she been all this time? And most importantly, why had she suddenly resurfaced now?".

Her fingers trembled as she reached for her phone, intent on calling Salim to share the shocking news. But her attempts to reach him were in vain, each call going unanswered as her worry grew with each passing moment.

Just then, the sound of footsteps echoed through the room, drawing Bahiyya's attention to the doorway. Her father stood there, his expression a mix of concern and curiosity as he took in her distressed appearance.

"Bahiyya, what's wrong?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine concern.

Bahiyya hesitated for a moment before blurting out the truth. "Dad, I just saw something... something unbelievable."

Her father's brow furrowed as he moved closer, his eyes narrowing with suspicion. "What did you see, Bahiyya? You know you can tell me anything."

Bahiyya took a deep breath, her hands still shaking as she recounted what she had seen in the video. At first, her father seemed skeptical, unwilling to believe that the girl could still be alive after all this time. But as he watched the video for himself, his expression shifted from disbelief to grave concern.

"We can't tell anyone about this," he said, his voice low and urgent. "Especially not Salim."

Bahiyya's eyes widened in surprise. "But why, Dad? Salim deserves to know the truth."

Her father shook his head, his jaw set in a firm line. "Not yet, Bahiyya. There are things you don't understand. Things that are better left unsaid, for now."

Bahiyya opened her mouth to protest, to demand answers to the questions that burned in her mind. But her father's words hung heavy in the air, silencing her protests as he hurriedly left the room, leaving Bahiyya alone with her thoughts and the weight of the truth she had uncovered.

GIDADO'S HOUSE..

Minal sat in her quiet room, the glow of her phone casting eerie shadows across her face as she watched the video for what felt like the hundredth time. Each viewing only served to deepen the knot of fear and disbelief in her stomach.

There, on the screen, was the unmistakable figure of Boddo, the woman she had once despised with every fiber of her being. Minal's mind reeled with confusion as she struggled to reconcile the image of the hateful Boddo with the woman known as Beenah.

Despite the warnings echoing in her mind, Minal couldn't shake the feeling that she was staring at the truth. How could Boddo have achieved so much in such a short time? And why had she resurfaced now, after all these years? Where on earth has she been?

Minal's fingers flew across her phone screen as she delved into the depths of social media, searching for any information that could confirm her suspicions. What she found only served to deepen her fear.

According to the stories circulating online, Boddo had no family and a murky past filled with so much loneliness . The pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place, painting a picture of a woman driven by ambition, willing to stop at nothing to get what she wanted.

But as Minal scrolled through the endless stream of rumors and speculation, one thought consumed her mind the fear of her husband Datti and his family discovering the truth. If they were to find out that Boddo was still alive, it could spell disaster for her.

With a heavy heart, Minal made a decision. She would confide in Kamal, knowing he's the only who can be a distraction to the whole family , before anyone else. Perhaps him. Knowing, could help her find a way to mitigate the damage and protect her interest.

But even as she reached for her phone to call Kamal, Minal couldn't shake the bitterness that still lingered in her heart. She had despised Boddo with every fiber of her being, wishing for her downfall and believing that she'll achieve it.

As she dialed Kamal's number, Minal couldn't help but wonder what other secrets lay hidden beneath the surface, waiting to be uncovered. And as the call connected, she braced herself for the storm that was sure to follow in the wake of Boddo's return.

KAMAL OFFICE...

Kamal's phone buzzed with an incoming call, and he hesitated before answering, knowing it was Minal on the other end. Their relationship had been strained for years, filled with resentment and unspoken grievances. But as he picked up the phone, he couldn't ignore the urgency in her voice.

"What do you want, Now?" he snapped, his frustration evident.

Minal's voice came through the line, soft and strained. "Kamal, please. I need your help. There's something I need to tell you, something important."

Kamal sighed, his anger bubbling to the surface. "Why should I help you? After everything you've done?"

Minal's tone softened, a note of desperation creeping in. "Kamal, please. This isn't about us. It's about someone you care about more than anyone in the world."

Kamal's heart skipped a beat at her words, a pang of concern gnawing at his chest. "What on earth are you talking about?"

Minal let out a sigh, her voice trembling slightly. "I can't explain over the phone. Just meet me at this hotel room. I'll send you the address."

Kamal wanted to protest, to demand answers then and there. But something in Minal's tone gave him pause, a flicker of vulnerability that he hadn't had in years.

"Fine," he muttered, begrudgingly agreeing to meet her.

As Minal sent him the address and ended the call, Kamal couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of his stomach. Whatever Minal had to tell him, he knew it was something that would change everything. And as he made his way to the hotel, he braced himself for whatever may come his way.

What he fear most is the reason why she's not meeting him at home but chooses a hotel? Despite his heart warning he decides to go and see for himself.

ALH.SABO'S

Mj stormed into Alhaji Sabo's office, his fists clenched with rage. "What were you talking about on the phone?" he demanded, his voice booming with anger.

Alhaji Sabo looked up from his desk, his expression calm and collected. "Mj, please calm down. We can talk about this rationally."

But Mj refused to be placated, his frustration boiling over. "Don't tell me to calm down! I heard you mention something about a girl. What's going on?"

Alhaji Sabo sighed, realizing that there was no avoiding the conversation now. "It's about Boddo Gidado's daughter," he began, his voice grave.

Mj's eyes widened in shock. "That girl? But she's dead, isn't she?"

Alhaji Sabo shook his head. "Apparently not. I received some information that suggests she's not only alive but thriving."

Mj's mind raced with questions. How could she have survived after all these years? And how had she managed to become someone of significance?

Alhaji Sabo continued, his voice filled with a mixture of frustration and fear. "I made sure to confirm her being sold along with the other girls and leaving the country. But somehow, she's managed to resurface, and she's become a threat to us."

Mj's heart sank at the realization. If Boddo were to reveal what she knew about them, it could spell disaster for their entire operation. They had to act fast to silence her before she had the chance to expose them.

"We need to involve our foreign business partners," MJ said, his voice urgent. "They have the resources to deal with her quickly and quietly."

Alhaji Sabo nodded in agreement, his mind already racing with plans to neutralize the threat. But MJ couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of his stomach.

"What about Kamal?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. "If he finds out about our involvement..."

Alhaji Sabo's expression darkened at the mention of their mutual enemy. "We'll deal with Kamal if and when the time comes. But for now, our priority is the girl. We can't afford to let her ruin everything we've worked for."

As they continued to discuss their next course of action, Mj couldn't shake the feeling that they were treading on dangerous ground. With Boddo's reappearance threatening to unravel everything they had built, they had to act swiftly and decisively to protect their interests. But as the weight of their secrets bore down on him, MJ couldn't help but wonder if they were already in too deep to ever truly escape.
