Chapter 4

by Usman Abdullrahman · Our Fallen Love

Ahmad's family was a close-knit one, and when he told them about his relationship with Safeeya, they were surprised but supportive. His mother, was a kind-hearted woman who immediately took a liking to Safeeya.

"I'm glad you've found someone who makes you happy, Ahmad," his mother zainab said, smiling. "But we need to be careful. Safeeya's family might not approve of our relationship."

Ahmad's father, was a bit more cautious. "We need to think about the potential consequences of this relationship," he said. "But ultimately, Ahmad, you're an adult, and you need to make your own decisions."

Ahmad's siblings, Hafsah and Idris were excited about the relationship and eager to meet Safeeya. "We want to get to know her better," Idris said, grinning. "Invite her over for dinner, Ahmad."

As Ahmad's family welcomed Safeeya into their fold, Zarah was busy coming up with a plan to help the couple.

"Here's what we'll do," Zarah said, her eyes shining with determination. "We'll help Safeeya and Ahmad leave the country for a while, until the heat dies down. My friend Asad has a vacation home in Europe that they rarely use. We can arrange for Safeeya and Ahmad to stay there until things calm down."

Safeeya's eyes widened in surprise. "That's perfect, Zarah. But how will we get there without Mother and Father finding out?"

Zarah smiled. "Leave that to me. I have some connections who can help us with the arrangements. We'll make sure Safeeya and Ahmad get to Europe safely."

Ahmad's eyes locked onto Zarah's, filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Zarah. We owe you one."

Zarah's expression softened. "You're family, Safeeya. I'll do whatever it takes to help you."

Safeeya and Ahmad arrived in Europe, feeling a mix of excitement and relief. They spent their days exploring the picturesque towns, holding hands, and enjoying each other's company. The vacation home was cozy and intimate, with a beautiful garden and a stunning view of the surrounding landscape.

As they settled into their new temporary life, Safeeya and Ahmad felt a sense of freedom they had never experienced before. They spent their evenings cooking together, watching movies, and talking about their dreams and aspirations.

Ahmad showed Safeeya the beauty of European art and architecture, taking her to famous museums and historical landmarks. Safeeya, in turn, introduced Ahmad to her love of literature, reading to him from her favorite books in the garden.

Their days were filled with laughter, adventure, and romance. They felt like they were in their own little world, away from the pressures and expectations of their families.

As the weeks passed, Safeeya and Ahmad grew closer, their bond strengthening with each passing day. They knew that they would eventually have to face the reality of their situation, but for now, they were content to enjoy each other's company.

One evening, as they sat on the porch, watching the sunset, Ahmad turned to Safeeya and said, "I never thought I'd be this happy. You've brought so much joy into my life, Safeeya."

Safeeya's heart swelled with emotion. "You've done the same for me, Ahmad. I feel like I've found my soulmate in you."

As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, Safeeya and Ahmad shared a romantic dinner, savoring each other's company and the beauty of their surroundings.

Back home, Safeeya's parents were frantic with worry. They had discovered that Safeeya was missing, and they suspected that she had run off with Ahmad. Safeeya's mother Maryam, was beside herself with anger and concern.

"Where could she be?" She demanded, pacing back and forth in the living room. "We have to find her, Ali Her father said; We can't let her ruin her life like this."

Safeeya's father, tried to calm her down. "We'll find her, he said to her mother. Don't worry. We'll make sure she comes back home and marries Mr. Hassan like we plan.

Her mother's expression turned determined. "We'll do whatever it takes to make her see sense. We'll cut her off from the family, from the inheritance...from everything. She'll have to come crawling back to us."

As the days passed, Safeeya's parents launched a search for her, but they couldn't find any leads. They were convinced that Zarah was involved in Safeeya's disappearance and began to question her.

"Zarah, where is Safeeya?" Her mother demanded. "Tell us the truth."

Zarah played dumb, trying to protect her sister. "I don't know, Mother. I've been busy with work and haven't seen Safeeya in weeks."

Her mother's eyes narrowed. "We're watching you, Zarah. If we find out you're involved in this, there will be consequences."

Zarah held her ground, determined to keep Safeeya's secret safe.

Meanwhile, Safeeya and Ahmad were enjoying their time together in Europe, oblivious to the drama unfolding back home.

Safeeya's parent hired private investigators to track down Safeeya and Ahmad. They scoured the city, questioning Safeeya's friends and acquaintances, but no one seemed to know anything.

Her mother's anger and frustration grew with each passing day. "How could she do this to us?" she raged. "We're her parents, for goodness' sake! We're only trying to help her."

Her father's expression was grim. "We'll find her, he said to her mother; And when we do, she'll learn to obey us."

The investigators finally got a lead on Safeeya's whereabouts, tracing her to Europe. Her mother's eyes lit up with determination.

"We'll go to Europe and bring her back," she said. "She'll see that she can't escape us."

Her father nodded. "We'll make sure she understands the consequences of disobeying us."

Meanwhile, Safeeya and Ahmad were enjoying their life in Europe, unaware of the storm brewing back home.

Ahmad's family was worried about him, but they were also supportive of his decision to be with Safeeya. His mother Zainab , was busy preparing a special dinner to celebrate Ahmad and Safeeya's new life together.

"Ahmad, I'm so happy for you," His mother said, smiling. "Safeeya seems like a wonderful person. I'm sure you'll be very happy together."

Ahmad's father Isah, nodded in agreement. "We're behind you, son. We'll support you every step of the way."

Ahmad's siblings, Hafsah and Idris, were excited to meet Safeeya and get to know her better. "We're going to love having a sister-in-law," Idris said, grinning.

As they sat down to dinner, Ahmad's family welcomed Safeeya with open arms. "We're so glad you're here," His mother said, smiling at Safeeya. "You're part of our family now."

Now, let's go back to Safeeya's fiancé, Mr. Hassan. He's been waiting for Safeeya's return, unaware of her disappearance.

Hassan's expression was confident. "I'll wait for Safeeya," he said to his friends. "She'll come to her senses and realize that I'm the best choice for her."

But little did Mr. Hassan know, Safeeya was already building a new life with Ahmad in Europe.

A week after the warm dinner with Ahmad's family, Mr. Hassan stood outside Safeeya's parents' house, his heart racing with a mix of anxiety and determination. He had been searching for Safeeya everywhere, but every lead seemed to end in a dead-end. He took a deep breath, adjusted his clothes, and rang the doorbell.

Safeeya's father, answered the door, his expression a blend of surprise and wariness. "Mr. Hassan, what brings you here?" he asked, trying to hide the tension in his voice.

Hassan's eyes narrowed slightly as he stepped forward, his tone firm but polite. "I've been looking for Safeeya. I know she's been in contact with you, and I need to know where she is."

Safeeya's face remained impassive, but a flicker of fear danced in his eyes. "I don't know what you're talking about, Mr. Hassan. Safeeya hasn't been in touch with us."

Hassan's gaze intensified, his jaw clenched in frustration. "Don't play games with me, He said to him, I know she's been communicating with her mother. If you don't tell me where she is, I'll have to take matters into my own hands."

The air was thick with unspoken threats, and Safeeya's father expression turned stern. "I'm telling you the truth, Mr. Hassan. We don't know where Safeeya is. And even if we did, I'm not sure we'd tell you."

Hassan's face darkened, his anger simmering just below the surface. "This isn't over," he warned, before turning on his heel and storming off.

As Hassan disappeared into the distance, Safeeya's father let out a sigh of relief. He knew that this wasn't the end of the matter, and he would have to take steps to protect Safeeya and Ahmad from Hassan's wrath. Little did he know, Safeeya and Ahmad were already building a new life together, far from the prying eyes of those who would seek to tear them apart.

Meanwhile, Safeeya and Ahmad were enjoying their new life together in Europe. They had found a cozy little apartment, and were busy settling into their new routine. Safeeya was loving every moment of her newfound freedom, and Ahmad was happy to see her so carefree.

As they sat on their balcony, watching the sunset over the city, Safeeya turned to Ahmad and smiled. "I'm so grateful for you," she said, her eyes shining with happiness. "You've given me a new lease on life."

Ahmad's heart swelled with love for Safeeya, and he pulled her into his arms. "I'll always be here for you," he whispered, holding her close. "We'll face whatever comes next together.
